The Police have today warned drivers against forging payment slips for express penalty tickets if the drivers are to avoid being arrested and prosecuted in courts of law.
The spokesperson of police, Judith Nabakooba says police have learnt that some drivers are forging payment slips for express penalty tickets issued to them by police traffic officers manning the roads.

She says police are investigating those drivers who instead of going to pay the fines in the bank, they are getting forged payment slips.
Nabakooba says any driver who will present a forged pay slip to police will be arrested on sport and charged with crimes of failing to pay the ticket and uttering false documents.
Speaking at Kampala Central Police Station today, Nabakooba assured Ugandans that police is still committed to increase traffic police deployment across the country to ensure road safety and observance of traffic rules.
